 Syndicated programs are very open as to the range of topics that can be promoted. Both music and talk shows can be promoted to music and talk stations. Topics can general, as in an everyday radio morning show, or they can be as diverse as:

About the only limitation would be non-English language programs, and programs with cursing. More important than the topic, however, is the host's ability to flow with the audience. As with Seinfeld, if the host is engaging, then the topic (whatever it is) will be engaging also.
